First, try to think back to a time when you bought the wrong shoes, or the wrong sized shoes, in the name of fashion, laziness, whatever, and then had to walk around in them all day because you didn't have another pair to change into. We've all done it, and we've all had one SORE pair of feet to deal with at the end of the day.
The moral of this story is: choose a *comfortable* pair of wedding shoes - in your correct size, of course! - and perhaps even consider buying two pairs, one for the ceremony and one for the reception.
Bridal flip flops and other trends
These days, more and more brides are actually turning to wearing non-traditional shoes with their gowns - everything from sneakers dressed up with faux jewels to flips flops (perfect for a beach wedding!) to comfortable ballet-like slippers to dance the night away in.
Whatever you decide upon, *believe me* when I say that after 10+ hours in your shoes they'd better be as comfortable as possible! :)
Wedding Quote of the Week
A happy marriage has in it all the pleasures of friendship, all the enjoyments of sense and reason, and indeed all the sweets of life.--from "The Spectator" (1711), Joseph Addison
